My Top 3 Favorite Tacos

Tacos have been a part of American society for quite some time now. The recipes for taco originally came from Mexico, but they have now been derived into different variations throughout American culture. We have all seen popular restaurants devoted to serving tacos, like Taco Bell and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Their tacos may be tasty, but nothing compares to the taste of home cooked tacos. The best part about preparing your own tacos is that you have total control over the ingredients. In fact, you can even get creative and make your own type of taco. It is recommended though that you use soft shells for all your tacos because it is very easy for the ingredients and toppings to fall out of hard shells. At least with soft shells, you can wrap the fillings up like a burrito and eat it that way.

If you are looking to make a tasty taco then nothing beats the traditional beef tacos.
  • A better way to make it though is to first cut up steak and ground beef, and mix them together.
  • Then cook the meat in a frying pan, drain the grease and fill the soft shells with them.
  • Next, you can add jalapenos, carrots, onions and any other vegetables you want to add in with the meat.
This is guaranteed to be the best beef taco you ever had. However, if beef is not your thing then you can always try a spicy chicken and vegetable taco instead. To make this you need some boneless chicken breasts, sour cream, oregano, jalapenos, green peppers, onions, and lettuce. If you want the taco to be extra spicy then you can pour some Tabasco sauce on top of the other ingredients in the taco shell.

There are so many ways to make a taco, so everyone’s favorite taco is likely going to be different. But that doesn’t mean you can’t experiment with unusual recipes for new tacos.

One recipe you probably haven’t tried is the chili taco recipe. This is where you replace the traditional ground beef with chili. It is up to you whether you want to have beef inside the chili, but some people just use kidney beans and chili sauce. Choose any meat that you want and mix it with the other two chili ingredients because that will thicken up the chili. That way you won’t have a runny mix that will drop out of the taco shell when you go to eat it.
